We repair Frigidaire single and double wall ovens that won't heat, run off temperature, stay locked after self-clean, show control errors or shut down mid-bake — at your home in Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Henderson and Boulder City. Many wall-oven repairs mean pulling the oven out of the cabinet, and we include that in the price we give you before work begins.

What makes wall ovens different
A wall oven has the same basic parts as the oven in a range — elements, a temperature sensor, a control, a door lock — but it lives inside a cabinet, and that changes the repair:
Access. Many parts — the hidden bake element under the oven floor, wiring at the back, the cooling fan on some models — can only be reached by unscrewing the oven from the cabinet and sliding it out. A double wall oven is heavy and is usually a careful two-step job.
Cooling. Electronics sit above the oven cavity in an enclosed cabinet, so wall ovens depend on a cooling fan. When it fails, controls overheat and the oven may shut itself down.
Shared controls. On double ovens, both cavities often share one control board. A control problem can affect both ovens; an element problem affects only one.
Wall oven not heating
Symptom
Usual causes
Bake doesn't heat, broil works
Bake element — often a hidden element under the floor panel on Frigidaire wall ovens
Nothing heats, display works
Control relay or board, temperature sensor, power supply (one side of the 240 V circuit), wiring
Heats slowly, bakes unevenly
Failing element, convection fan or element, temperature sensor out of range
Preheat never finishes
Sensor, element or control
Display dark, oven dead
Breaker, control board, wiring at the junction box
Door locked after self-clean
The door lock stays engaged until the oven has cooled after a self-clean cycle; that can take a while. If the door is still locked long after the oven is cool, the lock motor or lock switch has usually failed. Don't force the door — it can bend the latch and damage the door. We release the latch safely and replace the lock assembly.
Error codes and shutdowns
Wall ovens show codes for sensor, lock, key-panel and overheating faults. A code points the diagnosis in a direction, but the same fault can come from the part, its wiring or the control, and meanings vary by control platform. Write down the exact code and when it appears, and include it in your service request.
A loud whine or grinding from the top of the oven, followed by shutdowns during long bakes, is a classic sign of a failing cooling fan.
Convection, lights and doors
Convection fan motors and elements, oven lights, door hinges and door glass are all common wall-oven repairs. Sagging or uneven doors usually mean worn hinges, which also let heat escape and throw off temperatures.

Pulling the oven out of the cabinet, reinstalling it and securing it again is part of the labor on repairs that need it. Unusual cabinetry, trim that has to be removed, or a double oven can add time; you'll know before we begin.
Typical wall oven repairs
Typical Repair Example
Wall oven bakes slowly and unevenly
Frigidaire single electric wall oven with hidden bake element
Symptom
Cakes undercooked on the bottom; preheat taking far longer than before.
Diagnostic finding
Broil worked, but the hidden bake element under the oven floor tested open. Reaching it required pulling the oven out of the cabinet.
Repair performed
Removed the oven from the wall, replaced the hidden bake element, reinstalled and secured the oven, and verified temperature with a calibrated probe.
Parts involved
Hidden bake element
Result
Normal preheat and even baking.
Approximate total $445
Typical Repair Example
Door stayed locked after self-clean
Frigidaire Gallery double wall oven
Symptom
Upper oven door would not unlock hours after the self-clean cycle ended.
Diagnostic finding
The oven had cooled fully, but the door lock motor no longer moved the latch and the lock switch never reported unlocked.
Repair performed
Released the latch safely, replaced the door lock motor and switch assembly, and tested lock and unlock.
Parts involved
Door lock motor and switch assembly
Result
Door locks and unlocks correctly; oven back in use.
Approximate total $365
Typical Repair Example
Loud whine, then the display shut down
Frigidaire double electric wall oven
Symptom
Grinding whine from the top of the oven, then the controls shut off during a long bake.
Diagnostic finding
The cooling fan bearings had failed. Without cooling airflow, the electronics overheated and the oven protected itself by shutting down.
Repair performed
Replaced the cooling fan and confirmed airflow and normal operation through a full bake cycle.
Parts involved
Cooling fan
Result
Quiet operation; no more shutdowns.
Approximate total $345

Why does my wall oven bake fine on top but not on the bottom?
Many Frigidaire wall ovens use a hidden bake element under the oven floor. When it fails, broil still works and the top of the food cooks while the bottom lags. A technician confirms it with a resistance test; replacing it usually means pulling the oven out of the wall.
Is it safe to self-clean my wall oven?
Self-clean is a normal feature, but it runs the oven extremely hot and stresses elements, the lock and the cooling fan. If a part is going to fail, that's often when it does — avoid running self-clean right before you need the oven for something important.
